The Introductory video series on educational dialogue contains four collections of videos. Collection 3 contains videos about systematically analysing teacher-student dialogue. Collection 4 examines peer group dialogue and student participation.

Video 5: The T-SEDA pack welcome guide

This video gives you an introduction to finding your way around the T-SEDA materials for carrying out an inquiry into dialogue in your classroom. It gives you information about the T-SEDA pack, the additional resources, and the editable templates.

Video 6: Completing your self audit

The self-audit is the first tool in the T-SEDA pack and helps you to think of your current classroom dialogue practice. This video reviews how to use the self-audit statements, presents the aims of the self-audit and discusses an example.

Video 7: Completing your reflective cycle

This video reviews the steps in a reflective cycle and has a detailed focus on the first three steps: ‘interest and aims’, ‘focus and inquiry questions’, and ‘inquiry plan and methods’. Before you start, make sure you complete your self-audit and look at the T-SEDA coding scheme.
